Ribbon 2010:
Until Office 2003, all commands were contained in the different menus, pressing each unfolded throughout the column containing each command and icon. It could also be the case that there was some additional submenu.
With Office 2007 Ribbon it appeared what provided a lot of more things, since everything is tabbed, and we can see everything at once. We can also modify the format, style and color of the text and tables, just by approaching to the icon of the tool, which will perform the operation.
Besides, in the Quick Access Toolbar, we can add icons to facilitate our work
Question:
Why I am seeing a green ball on the ribbon?
A green ball is displayed by default if creating a custom group does not have an associated icon.
Microsoft Access 2010:
To facilitate access to the information we use a lateral panel instead of windows that we opened, and could be hidden, as in Access 2003.
From that panel we can make changes in the design of the database, apply filters to improve access content, and create shortcuts.
If we want to sort tabbed windows that appear in the options, we select Tabbed Document Display and Document Tabs.
With Ribbon, we can add buttons to the Quick Access Toolbar and create our own set of buttons.
With Access 2010, we can work with databases made on old Office versions, if we make changes, it can only be used at present.
Templates are a method to facilitate the work, because everything is organized, in Access itself or in Internet. It comes with an additional support.
The Web databases are to put the information and publish on the Web.
With the Instant Layout option, we can quickly make any modification.
